Taylor Pirone - Softball Pitching Lessons

Taylor was a four year scholarship recipient at two Division 1 universities (Fordham, Hofstra). At Fordham, Taylor saw playing time primarily at first base or as the designated hitter. In the Fall of 2013, Taylor transferred to Hofstra, where she served as both a starting and relief pitcher. In two seasons with The Pride, Taylor recorded 36 wins and 4 saves. She posted a Hofstra career ERA of 1.91. In her time at Hofstra, Taylor was a 2-time Northeast Regional All-American Selection (2014,15) and 2 time Colonial Athletic Association All-Conference Selection (2014,15). In 2015, Taylor helped lead The Pride to the Colonial Athletic Association Championship and was named the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Most Outstanding Player. In the same season, Taylor set an NCAA record for fewest walks per innings pitched (12 walks in 192.2 innings). Taylor is from Westchester County, NY, but still resides in Nassau County. She holds a B..A. in Sociology and is slated to graduate from Hofstra in the Spring of 2017 with a Master’s Degree in Public Relations. Taylor offers pitching and fielding lessons and is available for individual or group workouts.

Larry Minor - Baseball and Softball Hitting Lessons

Larry Minor is currently the head coach for the Nassau Community College baseball program, where he was voted National Coach of the Year for several seasons. In addition to coaching, Larry conducts baseball clinics, private training sessions for various baseball teams and one-on-one sessions for individual athletes of all ages. Larry is dedicated to developing student athletes’ physical mechanics and techniques, building mental strength, along with providing character building and life skills, so that players can effectively perform and excel on and off the field. Larry has seen the success of many of his players as they made the transition to play professional baseball, join minor league, college and high school teams.


Marc Palmieri – Baseball Pitching Lessons

Marc was drafted out of high school by The Toronto Blue Jays and pitched at Wake Forest University, graduating second in all-time wins at 24-7. He was varsity pitching coach at Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY for 13 years and currently serves as pitching coach with the elite Next Level Baseball program. Depending on the individual, lessons involve anything from establishing sound windup and arm action mechanics to more advanced work with pitch variety, strategy and strengthening.

Dominick Giammona – Baseball Batting Lessons

Dominick graduated from Deer Park High School in 2010. He is the son of Dominick and Maria Giammona. Junior year…Appeared in 12 games…Batted .462 with a .563 on-base percentage.

Anthony Caz – Softball Pitching and Batting Lessons

Coach Caz is a Fastpitch Softball instructor who conducts private training for all aspects and levels of Fastpitch Softball as well as being the founder of Team Nitro Long Island Fastpitch, a highly competitive fastpitch organization from LI that strives to Educate players through Athletics. TNLI consist of numerous fastpitch softball teams from 12U on up through 18U, providing an environment for players to showcase their talents to college coaches with the goal of being recruited to play colligate level softball.

Coach Caz has been coaching and training Girl’s Fastpitch Softball forover 15 years, the majority of them at the competitive travel ball level. His experience transcends fastpitch softball from the developmental stages of 8 & Under all the way up through the very competitive 18 & Under pre-colligate levels as well as a 23 & Under College level team.

Coach Caz has enjoyed enormous success throughout his coaching years. It was during his early years when he took several teams to New York State Little League Championships that catapulted him into a full-fledged Fastpitch Trainer and Coach. Within the Travel ball ranks, teams he has coached have finished in 5th place and 13th place at World Series National tournaments with over 70 teams competing in them. More recently he has been coaching at the 18U College showcase level, where he helps develop and coach players to play softball in college. Not only has he been able to get both of his daughters recruited to very high academic Division 1 and 2 softball programs in the northeast, he has help coach and mentor many other who are currently playing for or have played softball in college during his years of coaching with the Team Long Island fastpitch organization.

Bryan Goelz- Baseball Batting Lessons

Bryan played collegiately at Division 1, New York Tech where he was named Male Athlete of Year in 2002. In 2002, he was drafted by the Los Angles Dodgers and in May of 2003 he was named Player of the Month for the entire Dodgers organization. Bryan later signed with the Boston Red Sox and also played in the Atlantic league for the Long Island Ducks. Currently, Bryan helps run Motus Academy, the premier baseball organization on Long Island. 

Chris Waye- Baseball Batting Lessons

Articulate, athlete-focused instructor with proven expertise in motivating youth to achieve goals. I have extensive experience in teaching all facets of the game of baseball including hitting, baserunning, infield play and outfield play. I'm a strong communicator who enjoys inspiring young ballplayers to commit to long-term growth and success both on and off the field. I hold the athletes that I train in high esteem, and I interact with them with the greatest degree of professionalism and personal integrity.

I was a Robert Clemente All-Star Select Team Member, in 1997 and played in San Juan Puerto Rico under former major leaguer Lenny Randle formerly of the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs and Seattle Mariners. In 2004 I finished tied for 16th in the country amoung NCAA Division 3 players as toughest to strikeout and was named to the Skyline Conference second team All-Conference team as a second baseman while at SUNY-Old Westbury.
